MindKey as a strategic HR tool: Insights from Nordjyllands Trafikselskab
NT is a developing company with the ambition to become Denmark's best mobility company. They are working purposefully to make the North Jutlands more mobile by offering a wide range of modes of transport. In addition to the traditional modes of transport such as bus and train, they offer Plustur, carpooling, Flextur, etc. They do so because the company is driven by customers' needs and desires for transport, and because they want to contribute to a greener North Jutland.

Nordjyllands Trafikselskab has for many years used MindKey as a central solution for their HR administration. From recruitment to employee development interviews and HR cases, they have integrated MindKey into their daily HR processes.
MindKey as a cornerstone of HR management
In a recent conversation with HR Manager Birthe Bak, we gained a deeper insight into how MindKey is used and what strengths the solution contributes. Birthe shared several concrete examples and reflected on the role of the system:
“It gives us a structure in our HR work that we didn't want to be apart of.” The conversation also provided valuable inspiration on how we can further develop the system for the benefit of all our users.
Birthe highlighted several areas where MindKey is already making a significant difference in the company's HR strategy.
Structured Employee Development Interviews
The module for employee interviews is used diligently and is essential to structure the dialogue between employees and managers. It is important to be able to set up the preparation material yourself and this gives great value in the actual conversation, where both employees and managers are well prepared.
“It allows us to focus on the development of each employee because we have a tool that ensures that we evaluate backwards and discuss professional and personal development for the coming year.”
Registration of personnel information
“The HR management module ensures that information about employees is always available, structured and collected in one place. It may seem simple, but having accurate and easily accessible information about employees has really been a strength for us.”
Optimized recruitment
Recruitment module provides them with a structured and effective approach to the hiring process, from job postings and screening to onboarding. At the same time, Birthe expressed interest in investigating how AI can help optimize, for example, the screening process and thus ensure the best possible match between candidates and the needs of the organization. “I'd like to explore how AI can help us spot the most interesting candidates even faster.”

Ease of use and access to data
MindKey's intuitive interface makes it easy for HR professionals, managers and employees alike to navigate the system and find relevant information quickly.
“It's a huge help that we don't have to look long for the data we need. This saves time and ensures that employees and managers can focus on their core tasks without unnecessary obstacles.”
Future opportunities
Although Nordjyllands trafikselskab already getting great value out of MindKey, they are also looking forward to taking advantage of more of the system's capabilities. Birthe sought inspiration and knowledge sharing through networks and erfa groups where HR professionals can share experiences and best practices. She also mentioned a desire for more training options, such as e-learning, hands-on workshops and instructional videos, that can strengthen users' understanding of the system and ensure optimal use of its functions. “I think we could learn a lot from hearing how others use MindKey,”
Birthe's experience with MindKey shows how we can help empower HR through intuitive solutions and value-adding features. From employee development and recruitment for data management and ease of use, it supports NT in their goal of a more efficient and employee-focused organization.
